Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place chicken on a cutting board and pat dry.

  2. This step is optional.

Use the lemon concentrate on chicken and mix it around.

  3. Using a sharp knife. Make 2-3 slits in each of the chicken leg on each side. This will help the marinade penetrate the chicken faster.

  4. Sprinkle the garlic powder, black pepper, and dried jerk spice on the chicken. Once it is well coated, flip the chicken over and repeat. Mix the chicken well with the dried spices and really get the spices deep into the slits that we made.

  5. Get a bowl big enough to fit all of your chicken legs in and add in the olive oil and the wet jerk seasoning and mix it well. Add the seasoned chicken and coat it in the mixture. Place in the fridge for at least an hour. Best is 4 hours to overnight.

  6. Set your air fryer to 390 degrees for 23 minutes. Let the air fryer preheat for 3 minutes before adding the chicken legs. After it has preheated, lay your chicken legs in a single row and make sure to not crowd the air fryer.

  7. After 10 minutes, flip the jerk chicken legs and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes.

  8. Once the 20 minutes are up, take your instant read thermometer and make sure that the internal temperature is above 172 degrees and no longer pink inside.
